Staying true to its name, the Sustaina-C places a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability by incorporating body panels crafted from recycled and repurposed acrylic resin.
Drawing inspiration from both the original Honda City and the contemporary Honda e, the Sustaina-C possesses a striking resemblance to the latter, especially in terms of its overall body shape and its headlight design.
While it may share similarities with the Honda e, the Sustaina-C distinguishes itself with a more angular bonnet and two-tone paint that covers the wheel arches, giving the city car a more robust appearance.
Equipped with a fully electric powertrain, the Sustaina-C will likely share the same small 35.5kWh battery found in the Honda e. Though due to its smaller size, It’s hoped that the Sustaina-C can achieve a greater range than the Honda e's maximum of 137 miles.
Meanwhile, the Pocket Concept is a compact electric bike that pays homage to the iconic Motocompo from the 1980s. Designed by Honda for "last-mile mobility", this ingenious little bike can be conveniently stored in the rear of the Sustaina-C until you need to make a brief trip to town centres.
